Nepal Government removes quarantine system for tourists

March 20,Kathamandu.The cabinet meeting held on Thursday has decided that there is no need to stay in the tourist quarantine after receiving the PCR report performed within 72-hour.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhanubhakta Dhakal informed that the quarantine system has been removed. Nepali tourism entrepreneurs have been demanding the removal of the quarantine system saying that it has made it difficult for foreign tourists to come.

“The cabinet meeting has removed the quarantine system,” Minister Dhakal said. The cabinet has also decided to issue on arrival visa from Tribhuvan International Airport for easy entry for tourists.
