December 28, kathmandu.Heli Air Nepal Pvt. Ltd.’s gyrocopter has come into operation in Pokhara from Thursday.
The company said that the gyrocopter service, which was suspended due to the corona infection and the government’s lockdown, was brought into operation on Thursday.
Heli Air Nepal has been operating two gyrocopters with a capacity of two seats for the past four years. The company has informed that all the services have been re-launched on Thursday after completing the entire process of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal under the Government of Nepal and fully complying with all the rules and regulations of Covid 19.
The company has also provided 50 percent discount to Nepali nationals on the fares of all types of flights with the objective of supporting domestic tourism in a situation where the tourism business has been affected due to the Covid 19 epidemic.
The company said in a statement, “6,499 rupees has been charged for short flights around Pokhara, Rs.11,499 for flights to Machhapuchhre Himal (about 30 minutes) and 21,499 for flights to Annapurna Himal (about 60 minutes) including Machhapuchhre.”
The company has informed that this special discount will be given to the passengers while flying from the state-of-the-art Xerocopter made in France only during the Corona epidemic period. The company is confident that the resumption of our flights with the necessary health care precautions will help in the growth of domestic tourism in Pokhara in this difficult situation.
