High Ground Adventures Nepal Launches Nepal's First Shower Bungee in Pokhara

Pokhara: High Ground Adventures Nepal, a pioneering adventure company, has announced the launch of Nepal's inaugural shower bungee, set to elevate the thrill-seeking experience for tourists in Pokhara.

In a bid to augment the existing bungee jumping operation in Hemja, the company is injecting an additional NPR 5 million, promising an enhanced adventure for thrill-seekers. Dinesh Maharjan, Executive Director of High Ground Adventures Nepal, revealed that the unveiling of the savor bungee is scheduled for Chaitra 28, drawing anticipation from tourism stakeholders and government representatives alike.

"We are thrilled to introduce Nepal's first shower bungee, complemented by a comprehensive package including 6,500 photos, videos, and customized t-shirts. Furthermore, adventurers will receive certificates and convenient transportation from Lakeside to Hemja," stated Maharjan.

Dharmaraj Panthi, Chairman of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal, Gandaki Province, hailed the savor bungee as a unique addition to Pokhara's tourism landscape, likely to amplify its allure as a global adventure destination.

High Ground Adventures previously collaborated with European adventure company 'Bungee LaTvia' to kickstart bungee jumping in Nepal on November 17, 2014.

Sagar Shrestha, Chief of the Pokhara Regional Office of Nepal Tourism Board, expressed optimism that the introduction of shower bungee will further invigorate Pokhara's tourism, catering to both domestic and international tourists.

Additionally, High Ground has unveiled Nepal's first tower bungee, modeled after the Cantilever Bridge, along with tandem bungee jumping, catering to couples seeking adrenaline-packed experiences.

The investment in High Ground Adventures Nepal includes contributions from Sharad Golchha, Bharat Golchha, Abhinav Churival, and Dinesh Maharjan.

In a bid to diversify adventure offerings, High Ground introduced Nepal's first zipline in Pokhara on June 2, 2012. This zipline, stretching from Sarangkot to Hemja, is a franchise of the American adventure company 'ZipFlyer USA.'

Furthermore, the company has erected Nepal's first giant swing at the Hemja station, promising an adrenaline-fueled experience with a height of 262 feet and a length of 98 feet.

High Ground has also been providing ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) services in Pokhara for the past two years, allowing visitors to indulge in off-road biking adventures reminiscent of the renowned Dubai desert safari.

The introduction of shower bungee and other adventure offerings underscores High Ground Adventures Nepal's commitment to redefining adventure tourism in Pokhara and positioning the city as a premier global adventure destination.
